Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT), located at Rajanukunte,Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka, is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institution was established in the year 2008 by Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Samithi, a trust formed by a distinguished group of academicians with a strong vision for excellence in engineering education.
