Research

The department fosters a strong research culture driven by qualified faculty and active student involvement. It has five doctorate holders who also serve as recognized research supervisors for VTU.

Publications: Over more than 60 papers published in national and international conferences, journals, demonstrating active contribution to scholarly research and dissemination of knowledge.

Projects: Successfully completed 5 funded KSCST projects, reflecting a strong track record in research execution and project management. Ph.D. Scholars: Dr Priti Mishra, Professor currently supervising 6 research scholar and Dr Kumaresh Sheelavant Associate Professor Supervising 2 research scholar in VTU

Patents: Filed 10 patents, with 2 granted showcasing innovation and contribution to technological advancements. Focus Areas: Specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), aligning with current technological trends and industry needs.
